How to build a model trench of world war 1?
so i have a history assignment do next week. i have to make a model trench of world war 1. basically i need a plan of the materials needed to make a trench. if anyone can provide some good websites on how to make trenches, or if you have any personal information on how to make a trench, please please please help me out! thanks for anyone who answers
Chicken wire and papier mache are the basic requirements, with some mud colored poster paints to finish it off in. To make it look realistic, you have to have ground on either side, with hills and valleys, and the trench running between the hills. If you can get some toy soldiers to put in the trenches (after repainting them so the uniforms are more accurate for that time period) it will add greatly to the overall look of the project.
