Do you think the Nazis could have won WWII in this situation?
Imagine D-Day has already happened and the Allies are breaking through France on their way to Germany. At the same time Germany have already completed their sun gun and is fully operational.
Would this be enough to achieve Germany a victory or at least have the allies settle for not invading Germany? Or after D-Day everything was lost even if they had this Gundam Wing-like super weapon they were? What do you think? Could they have saved themselved or won?
The Germans were extremely close to winning the war in 1940 and 1941 but thankfully Hitler was a tactical and strategic idiot. If he would have listened to his generals the world could look a lot different today.
Many of those who were there have stated that England was just days from defeat during the Battle of Britain and that except for Germany’s decision to stop attacking and moved the efforts to Russia. If England had fallen the Normandy invasion would not have been possible, North Africa, the Caucasus, and the near east would have fallen to German control.
