Only If All of The Photocopies Were Sufficient

Life could have been faster but there are so many norms, laws, rules that one has to acknowledge that a easy thing is complex beyond the limits. I’ve been a science graduate. And I graduated with flying colorsurs. Primarily based on my score sheet I was in the top five bracket in the merit list.

It has been 10 years from that time. About five years a go the building that I was living in caught on fire. I had to do what I had to. I suddenly remembered that all my degrees and educational certificates were in the closet. I returned to my flat to fetch them but then before I could collect all of those, a fire fighter without listening to me pulled me out. Thank Heavens that I was insured for whatever loss I had to face in that fire accident but then I was devastated as I lost some of my certificates in the accident. One of my certificates that turned to ashes was my graduation proofs my degree, my mark sheet and the certificate of merit.

I had latterly cleared the interview at this corporation company and I got thru too. It was the job I have always wanted. The company was well known and my designation was cool. However, the company is known for its awfully stick norms. They would not even bend their rules a little even if God wanted to enter the premises without an ID. Despite making the management understands about the situation where in I lost the certificates they might sympathise and move on announcing a rule is a rule, we need to have all your educational and experience certificates before you could join us. This is my knockoff handbag story.

I attempted to dig deep to find some photocopies of the certificates that I lost in the fire and lucky I found one set. The day after I approached the management and presented the photocopies and I was so sure & assured that they’d smile and say that you might join.
