Help fixing phillips tv with bad connection.?

A tv tech on here told me that the connection was bad, because the tv will only turn on when i hit it. Now, there are these small bolts for the tv to open it up, what kind of tool do i need to get inside?

Generally, to get inside a TV, you need to remove the back cover. I’m not sure what 3 bolts you are talking about, but there are several screws needed to be removed to have access to the inside of most TV’s. Aside from a Phillips, Slotted or Allen wrench type screws, not sure what kind you are referring to. Screws that are needed to be removed for access are generally marked with an “arrow” pointing at the screw.

Added info: Are we talking about a CRT or LCD TV? I was referring to a CRT type in my comments above, sorry about that.
