Is there something to take rust off tools?

My husband had a bucket of tools that sat outside through this past winter. I had forgotten about them until the snow melted, and now we have a bucket full of tools that are rusted over. Any suggestions on how to get them clean? They range from screwdrivers, wrenches, nuts and bolts, and some socket wrenches. Thanks.
