What paints and tools do I need to build a Tamiya car model kit?

For Christmas i want to buy my boyfriend a few car model kits but i have no idea where to start. Im going to buy them off ehobbies.com but there’s so many different kinds of paints and tools to chose from so im kinda confused. I need a spray paint obviously, glue, cutting tools and tweezers but what else do I need? How many different paints do I need for the car and interior and what kinds do I need? Any help would be appreciated and links to everything i need from ehobbies.com would be amazing. By the way im thinking of getting the Tamiya 1/24 Nissan Skyline GTR Car Model Kit – 24090 and the Tamiya 1/24 Mazda Efini RX7 Car Model Kit – 24110 to start with.
I will be buying everything at the same time so I cant look at the box before buying the tools and paints and i know that i can get which ever paint colour i want but there are different types of paint and im unsure which ones i should be getting.

Use tamiya acrylic paints. You will also need a white/grey primer paint too. Sandpaper for the model. It’s a long list of things you might need. but you have the idea from what I’ve read in your question.
Basic tools: modeling knife, tweezers, sandpaper, sprue cutter, primer paint, glue(best is liquid plastic cement).
