Snap Tite

i bought a trainer at the chinatown

Now I have a few problems with this particular one as the tang pins keep falling off and the latch is a bit loose and i want it to snap into place when I close it.

I have tried teflon tape on the screws and it’s working well and as for the tang pin im trying teflon tape right now but i want a more permanent solution. I want to use something that will keep the tang pins there any suggestions?

And is there anything I should know for balisong maintenance?

And yeah I have heard of Loc tite im planning to buy a bottle as soon as I can
