second life – avoiding grey seas, what graphics card i mean really?

i have a p4 2.2Ghz with 1GB RAM and ATI radeon x1650 – this seems to meet and exceed by a very comfortable margin second lifes system requirements.

you may be having Client to Server issues (internet connection)
when online check your “preferences” can also tweek the view rate to not so far, (set it so it wont try rezzing everything in a twelve mile radius) so to speak.
you can fine tune the viewer a bit from there,
Log in and Press the “CTRL” and letter “P” and viewer prferences pop up
