Bon Scott albums, singles, eps ect?

Hi I was woundering how many singles, albums, ep’s ect where released by bons former bands pre AC/DC on vinyl and what were they and was Gloria on any of them?
Thaks for all of the info I have seen most of the vids on youtube. I am also a record collector only been seriously collecting for a couple of years collecting mainly AC/DC and related bands. But i just wanted to know whats out there of Bon pre AC/DC because he has the best voice ever. Plus thanks for the info mainly Smiley.
Plus another thing about his teeth when he was in AC/DC if you watch videos like Jailbreak all the way up to Highway To Hell just watch his teeth gradually get better again.

I still own the only two albums ever released by the Aussie progressive rock band ‘Fraternity’ which featured Bon as their lead vocalist between 1970-73. The albums are titled ‘Livestock’ ( 1971/Sweet Peach Records) and ‘Flaming Galah’ (1972/RCA Records). Both are very rare these days.
Fraternity also released 5 singles, all during 1971 on the ‘Sweet Peach’ label based out of Adelaide, SA, Australia:
The 1st was a 3 song single: Livestock/Why Did It Have to Be Me?/Cool Spot.
The 2nd: Why Did It Have to Be Me? / Question
The 3rd: Seasons of Change / Sommerville
The 4th was another 3 song single: If You Got It/Raglan’s Folly/You Have a God.
The 5th: The Race Part 1 / The Race Part 2

Prior to this Bon sang back up vocals with ‘The Valentines’, who released one EP titled ‘I Can Hear Raindrops’ in 1967, along with several singles released on the ‘Clarion’ record label based in Perth, WA, Australia:
I Can’t Dance With You / Every Day I Have to Cry – 1967
She Said / To Know You Is to Love You – 1967
I Can Hear the Raindrops / Why Me? – 1967
Peculiar Hole in the Sky / Love Makes Sweet Music – 1968

These two ‘Valentines’ singles were released on the ‘Philips’ label:
My Old Man’s a Groovy Old Man / Ebeneezer – 1969
Nick Nack Paddy Wack / Getting Better – 1969

Prior to The Valentines, Bon played the drums and shared some vocal duties with ‘The Spektors’ between 1964-66. The recordings from this period later appeared on a couple of 1992, and 1997 compilation CD’s titled ‘Bon Scott with the Spektors’ and ‘The Legendary Bon Scott – With The Spektors and The Valentines’. Both were released by the UK label famous for reissuing back catalogs, ‘See for Miles Records’. The song ‘Gloria’ can be found on the latter.
It’s for sale here, along with anonther CD featuring Valentines & Fraternity songs titled ‘Bon Scott – Early Years 1967-1972′

You might find this interesting. Here’s a video with Bon Scott in his pre- AC/DC years with the Aussie progressive rock band ‘Fraternity’. Check out his cave man beard, and notice that he still had all of his teeth at this point:

Here’s the ‘Fraternity’ song ‘Jupiter Landscapes’ set to a film/collage depicting various periods of Bon’s life & times with AC/DC:

This song was originally found on Fraternity’s 1971 ‘Livestock’ album.

This is a funny video of Bon singing back up with the Aussie band ‘The Valentines’. Bon is standing in between the guitarist and drummer…check out his dance moves!

Here’s a few other AC/DC related bands that you may or may not be aware of:

The Aussie/UK goup ‘Bandit’ featured pre AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams. There was a US band with the same name…not to be confused.

The UK band ‘Home’ featuring pre-Wishbone Ash guitarist Laurie Wisefield, also featured Cliff Williams on bass.

The early 70′s Aussie band ‘Rabbit’ featured Dave Evans on vocals. Prior to joining Rabbit, Dave was the singer/frontman for an embryonic AC/DC, soon to be replaced by Bon Scott.

And of course ‘Geordie’, who featured Brian Johnson, prior to his replacing Bon Scott in AC/DC. Geordie were cool, and I still really enjoy their 1973 album ‘Hope You Like It’.

There may have been another connection also, had Canadian singer Doug ‘Buzz’ Shearman joined AC/DC. Buzz was the vocalist for the Canadian band ‘Moxy’, and was considered as a candidate to replace Bon Scott but his on/off again vocal cord problems at that time would not allow him to tour extensively. In the end, AC/DC decided on former ‘Geordie’ front man Brian Johnson. Buzz had a wicked voice, and I think he would have been fantastic with AC/DC. Too bad he was killed in a motorcycle accident back in 1983. That first Moxy album is awesome, and featured guitar ace Tommy Bolin guesting on a few cuts.

Cliffhanger [VHS]

Cliffhanger [VHS]

Cliffhanger was a 1994 comeback of sorts for action hero Sylvester Stallone, this time thanks to director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2 and Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master) and some spectacularly rugged and vertigo-inducing high-mountain terrain. The opening sequence alone delivers what the title promises, and there’s a doozy of an airplane stunt that was later reprised, with modifications…
