Scale Strike

On counter strike source my crosshair has disappeared please help!?

On counter strike source, i changed my name, then put in the cl_crosshair scale command and set it to 8000 like i normaly do. And my crosshair disapered completly, so i tried to redo the command and set it to 250 and its still not there. Then i undownloaded the game and reinstalled it and its still not there please help me.
use options > multiplayer and try to set it myself i have already done, didnt work

In console, type:

crosshair 1

That will turn the crosshair back on. I’m betting you had forgotten the “cl_” bit, and it wound up getting turned off, and that info resided in the autoexec.cfg.
