Effects Of Water In Video Games
There do seem to be a lot of video games out there that use water effects very well indeed. Here are some of the video games that use water to really push the game forward.
Hydrophobia
This game is actually not out yet but it would seem that this is going to be a great game when it comes to the water effects used. The game begins with the main protagonist on a vessel that is hit by terrorists, it then begins to sink and you have to stop it. It does seem to me like there are going to be a lot of levels set underwater and it looks great. Although this video game was actually due out on all of the consoles it has since been announced as an Xbox only game.
Super Mario Sunshine
Although I could really use the entire Mario franchise for this section because there are always levels set underwater in the Mario games it is Mario Sunshine that really did it the most. FLUDD is the main thing here and this is the walking water nozzle that Mario uses throughout the game. The water effects truly were fantastic on this Mario game.
Bioshock 1 &2
These two games really do have some of the best water effects in a game and they have to really simply because the entire game is set in an underwater city. I am yet to really play Bioshock 2 as I have only had a little go at it but what I can tell it is just as good as the first.
So if you fancy your very own deep sea adventure why not go on one of those diving holidays and go shark diving. Of course Maldives diving is among the best for this kind of thing.
