Satin Enamel

what is the best paint to use ? ?

I was told to use kilz sealer primer and stain blocker now I want to know whats the best paint to use on top of that? there so many brand names not to mention eggshell enamel,satin enamel,latex finish,semi gloss enamel,flat paint. I want a professional finish that’s smooth and with a nice gloss i guess . oh what do u think about a sprayer should I use one or a roller thanks for all responses. : – )

i use and suggest to all my clients eggshell / flat enamel its the nicest finish for walls it has just enough sheen to subtly pick up light without any glare that a semi or gloss give off-i would also suggest using a roller applying thin coats spraying should be left to a professional painter
