new and used plastic models kits?
hello everyone….
i am into scratch building plastic model cars in 1/24 and 1/25 scale. i just started and im look for supplies whole kits or just parts in a box would be awesome also any paint you might have ie testor model master tamiya in bottle or spray.and tools like paint brushes,exacto-knifes,scribing-tools, picks small-files ect…..if you have these sitting around and don’t want them anymore i would like them and would put them to good use in my builds just let me know what you have thanks for your time

I don’t have any kits that I’m willing to give up, as I do the same thing with them. I just had a potential source or two for you. Check out garage sales, where I’ve picked up kits for as low as $0.25 each. Another maybe good spot would be thrift stores. From Goodwill at the top of the heap, to the mom-and-pop shops that you’d probably never go into otherwise. These places can have several at a time from someone cleaning out junior’s room, or whatever the case may be.
Hobby Lobby and Micheal’s craft stores, if in your area, regularly have 40% or 50% off any one item coupons online. Print these and go score some good deals on building supplies.
Last, if you can find the right wood burning tool, the burner tip can be replaced with the chuck of an Exacto knife. This makes for a great hot-knife that will cut through a model like, well, a hot-knife through styrene.
