What is the diference between plastic and resin models?

Assuming you mean plastic as in the kind of models you buy at Walmart, the MAIN difference is the material. “Plastic models are blow molded from polystyrene. Resin models are cast from cold cast, two part resin. The resin models tend to be better quality and heavier as well as MORE expensive.
