Look for the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII in a Black Sport Red Gold colorway to launch

We first spotted the Nike Air Max Lebron 8 back in June and since then we have spotted the sneaker in white on white, black on black, Team USA, and China versions.

Now we see the sneaker in a suede, leather and flywire build in a mix of black and sport red with touches of gold. These will release on the 26th of October however Nike Basketball will officially unveil the sneakers on Thursday.

We’ve seen the Black/Red/White Nike Air Max LeBron VIII a couple of times already and now, we get a nice look at a version of the Black/Red/White Nike Air Max LeBron VIII with a couple of twists. A more Miami Heat flavored colorway with these subtle additions, the Black/Gold/Red Nike Air Max LeBron VIII features the same base as the Black/White/Red VIII with an added kiss of Gold at the upper eyelet, a Red trim around the Flywire strands, a Black trim on the Swoosh, and the removal of the red speckling on the midsole.

Though it would be a last minute change, this colorway might just end up being the launch colorway for the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII on the 26th of October. If I hear anything else on this change, it will be posted.

The Air Max LeBron VIII will finally make its way into to stores next month, and today we take a look at the black/sport red/gold LeBron VIII. The shoes are set to release at Footlocker and other Nike Basketball accounts on October 26th.

With LeBron now in Miami, the colorway of the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII has been quite a hot topic around here. Today, Nike has unveiled a look at the shoe in a Miami Heat inspired colorway, that might make the cut. Using black as the base for the upper, Nike has chosen to accent the Flywire by outlining the panels in sports red. The actual Flywire remains black, which helps to give is a texture against the black suede used for the rest of the upper. White plays a major role and decorates the Nike Swoosh as well as the midsole. The outsole is a red translucent color, which helps to tie in the red tinted 360 Air Max Unit.
