Rail Colours

need help with color of chair rail,closet door and door moldings?

top of wall is gold, below the rail is cinnamin cloves (a burnished rust like color) what color to paint the chair rail,door casings and door. ceiling is lighter shade of gold..2couches one leather burnished rust,one warm suede green and recliner is deep taupe.2 rustic bookcases wrought iron tv stand

gosh this sounds good enough to eat! you could try a chocolate brown, natural wood in med to dark colors, or a few tones lighter or darker than the cinnamon-cloves. or a pumpkin might work for you. it sounds like a mix of fall colors to me, so you might also want to think about a creamy taupe. buy little paint samples and live with the colors a bit. too many colors might look too busy…you could also match your cinnamon cloves color…
