how do bay area police departments administer their drug test? ex: oakland,vallejo,richmond,fairfield,hayward.?

so i really would like to become an officer and move forward in this career and path..ive smoked marijuana for the past 2 years up untill about a month ago..so i was wondering if theres anyone that actually works or knows someone from these departments that might know if its done by hair or pee.thanx..please serious answers only..im not a pot head just had some young fun but ready to get ahead in life.
