Perfect Grade

How can a current 6th grader with perfect grades in the 3rd nine weeks have the optionskip to the 8th grade?

You know someone that has done this? Say there 6th teacher only taught 6th grade stuff for the first nine weeks and when they got to 7th grade, and knew everything, how and is it possible for them to go on to the 8th grade?

It depends on the school district. Speak to your principle or call the district office.

The real question is why would you want to? School isn’t strictly about what is taught in the classroom, but what you learn through socialization.

Having taught in higher ed, more often that not the home-schooled and those who skip a couple of years of school have a very hard time in college. It’s not just about maturity, but being able to relate, and have reasonable expectations of yourself and the school system. Rather than skipping grades, why not find more meaningful or difficult classes? Why not take a class at your local community college?
