Orange Lining

What breed of cat is grey with thin orange lines running long ways?
Ive seen two of them and my girlfriend has seen some as well and we want to get one of our own. They have all been female, don’t know if that matters. They are almost solid light grey color with very thin “squiggly” orange lines running from front to back. not all the way, just a few inches in length.
That;s not a breed, but a color. It’s called either tortoiseshell or calico- I can’t tell you exactly based on your description. The only difference between tortoiseshell and calico is that calico has white in it.
If it looks grayer or lighter than a normal calico or tortoiseshell, it’s known as dilute tortoiseshell or dilute calico
And yes, all calicos and tortoiseshells are female (except for a rare, few, genetic miracles that are male)
