Does the moon affect humans, not just the tides?

Hi, okay i was wondering does the moon (particularly the full moon) affect humans in any way, because my mum and dad works on a bus with disabled children and mum has noticed that when its a full moon the childrens behaviour become more troublesome and also my dad says that when he sleeps in the moonlight he has lots of weird dreams. Also my mum used to work in aged care/mental health and the same thing happens to the their behaviour/moods?

Gravity operates under an inverse square law. As the distance increases the power of gravity drops off inversely squared to the item. So if the moon is closer to a human it is going to have an affect. Jupiter has an affect on humans. The small moon of Pluto has an affect. Everything has an affect on everything else. But because that affect drops off with distance, it’s noticeable effects drop off quickly.
As for any mental changes in humans there is data to support a variety of ideas. More research needs to be done, but I personally think the results are more about peoples reaction to the full moon, then any power the full moon has over people.
