Macross Fighter
Could someone help me identify this anime?
Ok, I’ll try to describe what I remember.
This was set in space. There was a group of pilots, running or hiding from some kind of evil government or entity. They all had their own ships/fighters I guess you’d call them, I don’t recall them being mecha of any kind, but it’s a little fuzzy. Anyway, they wore space pilot uniforms, almost voltron-esuqe. All had a different color trim to the uniforms. The main parts I remember are them being inside some sort of rocky tunnel or asteroid. There was one leader character, and another cliche fat guy veteran with an attitude who I believe his uniform was trimmed in brown.
At first I thought…gatchaman, but no, this was a little more serious, not as cheesy with the bird capes and such. Then I thought star blazers,or maybe something from the macross/robotech universe but nothing seemed to click when I looked them up.
Any help?
