Water heaters are one of the few appliances that are not usually convertable. If you look on the rating plate of the appliance it will list the manufacturer’s contact information. It will also list the model and serial number of the appliance. Write that information down and give them a call. They will tell you if it can be converted or not. And if so where to obtain a kit in your area.

More than likely though, you will have to exchange the heater for a propane unit.
