Infinite Justice

Why is God’s concept of justice inferior to our own?
Two basic tenets of justice in the modern Western world are as follows: 1) We try to punish only those who have actually committed crimes; we do not punish the parents or children or neighbors of wrongdoers. 2) Ideally, we try to ensure that the punishment fits the crime. The Christian God subscribes to neither of these. First, He condemns all of mankind for the “original sin” of Adam and Eve (which they committed without “knowledge of good and evil”). Then, He levies infinite punishments for finite misdeeds. To call such a God just is to render the word meaningless. He doesn’t even meet the rather flawed standards of us humans. We shouldn’t be worshipping Him; He should be worshipping us.
And yet Jesus commands when we humans are wronged, we must “Turn the other cheek.” While god punishes eternally.
The god of “do as I say. Not as I do”
