Hobby Gundam

TV show simulation: show for big boys hosted by 2 cute girls?
My friend and I are finishing a short course in broadcasting. For our final exam next week we are planning to do a talk show on “male” hobbies. Target: 80% male audience, late teens to late twenties, upper middle economy. Here are some ideas of what the show might be about:
-Gundam robots
-Anime trading cards
-Popular video games (Mario, Final Fantasy, Wii Play etc)
-Car model collectibles
We will only pick ONE theme. We have 20 minutes onair in 3 segments. Opening: introduce the episode’s theme & the guest (enthusiast of that theme). Middle: interview guest & highlight attractive points of his hobby. Closing: guest’s opportunity to demonstrate & share further details, close the show.
I just realised my friend & I are no experts at the themes I mentioned..we have 7 days to prepare. What theme would be the most marketable but relatively easy to prepare? What props should we include in the studio to make it more attractive? What would make our target audience want to watch?
The popular video games would be easiest, and it would be the most true statement. I have never used gundam robots anime trading cards or car model collectibles. As well, there are not many guys who really do. The car model would be the next most doable thing. But i would say about 98% of all guys have played video games, and still do. You are targeting males, so just start the show with something from a video game, some action or video that occurs in the game. That will at least get the attention of the guys, then the rest of your show will need the occasional re interest segment, to get us to keep watching.
