Flying Sub

Will we ever master faster than light travel?
I know faster than light travel is impossible acording to Relativity. do you think well ever find a loop-hole, and start warping, hyperspacing or wormholing through the galaxy or are we stuck with sub-light travel and thus traveltimes of years to get to nearby stars?
flying to alpha centauri at sub-light speed would be such an increadible drag.
idiocracy is not a word
Opinion? Yes. I firmly believe that it’s little more than a sound barrier, just in space-time. All mathematic models are just that, models, equations which work very well, but only over a finite series of numbers. This may be a large series, but still finite. Then it ceases to function properly.
I also believe in a bit more esoteric idea… so far in the history of Mankind, almost everything that we’ve imagined being able to do, we’ve found a way to do. It might not look like a man with feathers glued to his arms and flying, but an F-22 Raptor is a pretty good shot at human flight. Man on the Moon? Yup. Submarines? Yes. Tanks? Yes. Medications that heal many different diseases? Yes, particularly penicillin, for instance.
So… if we can imagine going faster than light.. I think we’ll do it. I have no idea how.. but some day in the distant future… YUP!
This is of course, only my opinion. I cannot back it up with math.
