Aircraft model collection?

i wanna start collecting aircraft model, like fighter jet
but i dont know which brand to choose from.. are they any brand tat has variety of model which is standard in size tat i can collect them all..

Size is based on “Scale”, a ratio of the size of the model relative to the real thing. Standard aircraft scales are 1/32, 1/48, 1/72, and 1/144 (eg with 1:48 scale, 1 foot of model = 48 feet of real… or 48 feet in real-life would be 1 foot of model).

I’ve been building models since 1974 and my prefered scale is 1:72… it’s large enough you can have good detail, but small enough to have a large collection. 1/32 is fun to have ONE or TWO, but are just too big to store / display any more: an F-14 Tomcat in 1/32 scale is almost two feet long !!

ALMOST ALL brands stick to the standard scales… I like Hasegawa, Fujita, Tamiya, Testors, Revell, and Trumpeter. Airfix isn’t bad.

Just head to your local hobby shop and look around for your first model !!
