Electric Handy

Electric Handy
Is it alright to leave a mobile connected via USB for long periods?

I have a Nokia 6303, it’s pretty handy to leave connected through the USB port because you can respond to texts by typing on your PC screen as opposed to fiddling around with the headset. Is this okay to do, or am I going to end up blowing my eyebrows off with a powerful electric explosion? Not that I mind, they could do with a trim.

If your phone charges that way then I don’t suggest doing that, but since you’re able to type with your computer and send messages then your phone was probably meant to have that option. I highly doubt your computer or phone will spark with a USB connection – not much energy runs through that – but just in case you might want to unplug unneeded electronics that are sharing the same surge protector.
