Why don’t we see good things when were going through sleep paralyzes?

It like we all feel and see the same thing. Why can’t we see cool things? Like maybe laying down on the beach and feel the warm air and cool sea gulls flying in the sky. Why do we have to see dark figures and feel terrified?
I don’t feel scared at all until I start seeing dark figures and other scary things.

Sleep paralysis causes mild hallucinations. That plus the inability to move, scream, and sometimes breathe (in my case), makes for a pretty terrifying event. Few things are more terrifying than being unable to control your body. I believe its a part of anxiety due to the loss of control.
