Color Acrylic
Does anyone have an acrylic fish tank? Does the acrylic turn color?
I would like to get a small fish bowl for a small room and I’m deciding on a whether to get a 2, 3, or 5 gallon tank (the space will not take anything larger than a 5 gallon).
I found that the small tanks are not made of glass, but are made of acrylic. My concern is that the acrylic will turn yellow, or will crack.
What are your experiences with the small acrylic fish bowls?
I have a 5 gallon tank and its glass, I also have a 2.5 which is glass. But I do have a small hexagon acrylic tank which I have had for about 8 years or so and has no cracks but they do get scratched very easy.
Before you get a fish for it make sure you look up how big it gets and if it is suited for a tank that small. In mine I only keep bettas.
