Could I use a spray bottle mixed with shampoo and water as a makeup brush cleaner.?

I looked at the ingredients of a shampoo bottle and it’s main ingredients where the same as a $10 brush cleaner

Yes you can just use Shampoo to clean your makeup brushes, but make sure it’s gentle baby shampoo. If you wanna make a real makeup brush cleaner you can mix distilled water, alchohol, dishwashing soap, spray on leave in conditioner (chi and paul mitchell makes good ones)

mix 1 cup water, 1/4 cup alchohol, 1/2 tablespoon of dishsoap, 1/2 tablespoon shampoo, 1 tablespoon leave in conditioner. gently stir everything together and put it in a spray bottle. hope this helps, good luck.
