Is this damage done from having acrylic nails?

I got acrylic nails at the end of May and had them taken off mid-June, but now it seems to look like where the nail was glued on has left it discolored. The top half of my nails looks normal, a light pinkish color, but where the nail was, it is now a dark red, brownish looking color. there is like a brown ring where you could tell the nail was placed. It is definitely noticeable. Could it be an infection or just damage done from having the nails put on?

yes it is damaged all nails are like that when you get acrilic nails best thing to do is leave it alone let it grow out and soaking your hands in a bowl of warm water or milk wouldnt hurt either
