Blue Railroad

if i see people walking on the railroad tracks who do i call?

the other day i saw at least 6 persons walking on the railroad tracks
but i didn’t know who to call should i have call 911? or the local police dept?
[note this was in los angeles county at the artiesa blue line Station)

Call the local police... or you'll often find signs along the track that will have a number for the Railroad's police force.

In California it IS illegal to walk along the tracks... the right of way is PRIVATE property, so aside from the danger, they are committing criminal trespass.

You mention that it was along a commuter line... I WOULD call, because there is NOTHING more annoying to those of use who ride the trains than the 2 to 3 hour delay that is caused when some IDIOT get hits by the train !!
