Monster with lower ATK destroyed even if it inflicts Battle Damage higher than ATK of Attack Target?
Alright, let’s say there is a monster with 1500 original ATK attacks a monster with 1600 original ATK. Let’s also say the attacking monster’s effect is that the Battle Damage it inflicts when it attacks is increased by 200 points, so the total Battle Damage is now 1700, higher than the 1600 ATK of the Attack Target. So obviously the Attack Target is destroyed and your opponent receives the 100 points of difference as Battle Damage. My question is: Will the monster that attacked with 1500 ATK be destroyed by the battle as well for having a lower ATK than the Attack Target with 1600 ATK? Will you also receive 100 points of difference because of the 1500 and 1600 ATK difference?
No, it only takes into account the battle, which your 1700 monster would have won. You would go back down to 1500 attack still alive, and wit hthe same amount of life points
