Whats the best place to buy gunpla online as of 2010 in Canada?
I was wondering what the best site online was to buy gunpla. I’m looking for reasonable pricing on shipping since I plan on buying two kits.
The kits that I plan on buying happen to be Bandai HGUC RX-79[G] Gundam The Ground War Set and HGUC Gundam MS-06 Zaku The Ground War set Model kit. I was hoping I could find a deal on some site offering both for under $50 with shipping but so far haven’t run into such a deal.
I may be willing to buy more in the future which is why I’m asking which sites the best. So far I’ve checked ebay (kits were reasonably priced but I wouldn’t be able to buy both for $50), gundamstoreandmore which happens to be USA only, and hobbywave which offered the kits too expensive.
edit: emphasis on Canada. Some stores charge more for canada, and comparing prices I’m losing $10 compared to USD
I’ve always had good luck with Hobby Link Japan. Since they ‘re based in Japan, they offer the kits at Japanese retail price, no import mark-up. Shipping prices aren’t too bad, too, even coming from overseas. They pack up everything real secure for shipping, too. Only reason I stopped shopping from them is that I moved to Japan a few years back.
