Apollo Spacecraft
Is the design for the Apollo spacecraft (Apollo 11, 12, 13, etc.) the intellectual property of anyone?
Is the design for the Apollo spacecraft (basically a cone shaped nozzle, a cylindrical service module, and a cone shaped command module), the exclusive intellectual property of anyone, or is it public domain?
Being a work of the American government, I’d guess that the latter is the case.

Yes the USA copyrights all design except when a private enterprise like Mc Donnell Douglas or GE would copyright their design and by contract the Government would basically lease it.~
