Apollo Command

Imagine an astronaut having a mass of 60 kg floating in space 13.0 m away from the center-of-gravity?
(the point where all the mass may be imagined to act gravitationally, p. 249) of an Apollo Command Module whose mass is 6.00 103 kg. Determine the gravitational force acting on, and the resulting accelerations (at that instant) of both the ship and the person.
Force between astronaut and Command Module
This is very straightforward. Just use Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation:
F = GMm / r²
Plug in all values and solve.
