Airbrush Lacquer

What kind of paint would be the best to use for clothing designs that wont wash out? im using an airbrush also?

I do alot of artwork for friends, and i was recently asked to do a design on the back and sleeves of a friends hoodie. but i am not sure what kind of paint to use that will be the most permanent. I am using an airbrush, so it would have to be fairly thin paint. water based paint would wash out.. lacquer based paint requires more ventilation than i have in my shop, and oil based paints would clog my airbrush…so…im at a loss. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Acrylics should be able to thinned down with water enough for an air brush. When it’s dry it’s pretty immovable as I can testify to with the paint stains on my carpet.
